Quail Recall Funnel by K-9 Komfort

Nothing great about this. Works as it should and inexpensive.

The funnel is OK and will work I think. But, the recall funnel is suppose to have a slight angle upward on the inside of it, approximately 25-30 degrees. Your funnel is made to go straight in to the house with no angle. Also there are no screw holes in the mounting flanges so you either use self tapping screws or you have to predrill through 2 flanges in order to mount the funnel. I realize this funnel was very inexpensive but it could have been made with the builder in mind and made just a little different

Larger quail will not fit through small end. I wished I had ordered the Chucker funnel.

We purchased 2 of these and put them right to work. Both are doing great.

Product is installed in a Johnny Wagon but I have not as of yet released any birds to see if they manage the funnel entrance, let alone come back to the roost. Product was good construction although I had to drill holes in the face plate to allow for fastener screws . Otherwise I found it met my expectation. Side BAr Comment (Wink) Steve needs to get a video together to show his customers how easy it is to raise quail and get them to come back home. it's not as complicated as some of those high end tracking collars..... notwithstanding, my homing pigeons and quail might not make it back home BUT, at lease I found my truck after a 3 days of grouse hunting in Michigan and now I made it back home! My pup's gps collar worked!

I have them in all my Jonny houses and when I let the birds out the all come back in

I like the solid construction of this funnel. It is well designed and constructed with durable weather resistant materials.

Worked well for making the Quail Pen. Easier than making them from scratch!

Tube seems a little too narrow at the end. Some of the quail were backing up.

Small end is too small. Half of the birds are nervous about the one way fork and won't venture past it. The cone needs to angle up. I have made three of these from scratch on past Johnny houses, and they worked great. All the birds have been put through this new funnel at least once and most three times, and all of them have used the one on my john house. Too bad, they are kind of hard to make by hand. I just remodeled this one and expect it to work better.

Would be perfect if it was 2-3 inches longer.

Well built and easy to put in. Could use some mounting holes.
